Based on a well known Dutch folk tale called, Goblins Turned Stone. The tale tells of mischievous goblins, who were short and ugly. So ugly, in fact, that they were forced to live underground and could only come out at night.
The art depicts a scene from the story, The Raven King And The Tower, written by Rick Clarke. The story was inspired by myths surrounding the construction of the Royal Observatory in Greenwich, London, and the legends of the Ravens of the Tower.
